Dr. Saeed Aldhaheri is a leading expert in ethical AI, digital transformation, and strategic foresight, with a global impact in AI governance and policy. He is Chair Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology and Director of the Center for Futures Studies at the University of Dubai. He serves as UNESCO Co-Chair on Anticipatory Systems and chairs the AI Working Group for the Citiverse initiative (ITU, UNICC, Digital Dubai). He is also a former Commissioner with the Global Commission on Responsible AI in the Military Domain. A sought-after advisor and speaker, Dr. Saeed has addressed global institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and OPEC. He is ranked among the world’s Top 20 AI Governance Influencers (2025) and is a LinkedIn Top Voice.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Our event is called TEDxJumeirahBeachPark, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxJumeirahBeachPark event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
